At the March meeting, we'll be looking at the newly release apple development kit for the iPhone, and it's implications for the platform. We may even have a quick walkthrough of use of the development kit (depending on how much time various members have had with the package since launch).

On Tuesday February 26th at 7pm, MIT room 3-133, the Boston PDA Developer's Group presents a forum open to developers of all PDA platforms.
At the February meeting we'll be looking forward to the upcoming release of the iPhone development kit, as well as developments with the Android platform, and Ubuntu mobile.

At the December meeting, we'll be looking at the hottest gifts in portable handheld computing for this year's holiday season. From iPhones and iPods, digital paper book readers, Palm smartphones, handheld GPS units and even a refreshed Zune line (egads!) there are an amazing array of devices available to give to your loved ones as part of your Christmas, Hannakuh, Kwanzaa or Winter Solstice celebration this year.

THE BOSTON PDA DEVELOPER GROUP IS REBORN OCTOBER 23nd at MIT
A few years ago, BOSPDAUG decided to retire the Boston PDA Developer Group meeting, as the Palm platform had stagnated, and there was not a compelling platform to write for. The recent announcement by Apple of the iPhone SDK, to be released in 2008 has set of a flurry of activity inside the inner circle at BOSPDAUG. To wit, as we now have an interesting platform to develop for again, we've decided to rebrand the 2nd meeting of each month, held on the 4th Tuesday as "The Boston PDA Developer Group" meeting, with the focus on iPhone development.
